Christmas is nearly here, so why not treat your Mercedes-Benz to a few accessories and replacement parts?

We’ve compiled a list of additions and upgrades for your Mercedes car or van, along with some great accessories that all drivers should own. Check out our 12 days of Christmas inspired list for a few gift ideas, whether you’re treating yourself or your motor.

1. Winter tyres

High up on the list is a new set of winter tyres! The temperature has dropped considerably and road conditions have become treacherous, meaning winter tyres are a must. Consult your handbook or Mercedes car manual for advice on size and the recommended pressures, based on your make and model.

2. Iconic Mercedes Star

Are you missing the iconic Mercedes star from your bonnet? Maybe it’s been damaged or stolen? Perhaps you bought your vehicle second-hand with the star already missing. If your car bonnet is missing this stylish motif, we can help. Our parts shop stocks a selection of emblems for various makes and models, click here to take a look.

3. Christmas Lights (Xenon’s obviously!)

The days are becoming shorter and the nights are now longer. With that in mind, it’s definitely worth making sure that your headlights are in full working order. To avoid any unfortunate accidents or a fine over the holiday period, check your lights and check them twice. Should you need a new set, our parts shop is a one-stop shop for all car models, from the Mercedes C-Class to Mercedes SLKs. Click here to browse our range.

4. A roof box for your luggage

We’ve all been there before, trying to cram our luggage and everyone’s presents into the boot. If you’re Christmas plans consist of driving the length and breadth of the country, with a car full of suitcases, you may want to consider getting a roof box. They are a relatively inexpensive addition to your Mercedes and are very easy to fit.

5. An In-car DVD player for those long journeys

We imagine you’ll be doing your fair share of driving this Christmas, whether you’re visiting family or going on holiday. It’s no secret that children get bored on a long drive. To keep them entertained, why not invest in an in-car DVD player to attach to your headrests. The kids will be kept entertained, making your life a lot easier.

6. Bottle jack for commercial vans

If you own or drive a commercial vehicle, i.e. a Mercedes Sprinter, a hydraulic bottle jack is a must-have. These hydraulic devices are made especially for heavy vehicles and are a handy piece of kit to have in your van or in the garage. Visit our accessories range for a full list.

7. A new set of floor mats

If your car is in need of a sprucing up, treat yourself to a new set off floor mats. You’ll find a wide-range of floor mats on the market, in a range of colours and materials. Add them to your Christmas list and prepare to act surprised!

8. Wing mirrors, if yours need replacing

Wing mirrors are an essential part of your car. Driving without a working set can be a serious safety risk and a car accident is the last thing you need over the holiday season. If your mirrors have been cracked, damaged or have stopped working altogether, you’ll want to find a replacement as soon as possible. We stock a range of working wing mirrors for most Mercedes models at prices that won’t leave you out of pocket over the holidays.

9. A Mercedes key ring for your stocking

A Mercedes key ring makes for a brilliant stocking filler or Christmas present. We guarantee the lucky recipient will prefer one of these to that snow globe you saw at the winter market.

10. A bike rack for your new year’s hobby

Who doesn’t love a good bike ride? There’s nothing we enjoy more than leisurely roaming around the countryside on two wheels. Perhaps a new bike is already on your Christmas wish list? If you’ve been thinking about exploring some of the UK’s best cycle trails, you’ll want to make sure you have a good bike rack for your car.  We’re pretty sure Bradley Wiggins has one.

11. A Mercedes coat for those cold mornings

Everyone Mercedes driver should own a branded all-weather jacket. Not only will you look the part when scraping ice off your car, you’ll also be nice and warm whilst you’re doing it.

12. A new pair of rims or alloys

Enter the New Year in style with a replacement set of Mercedes rims or alloys. If you’re already having new tyres fitted this is a great time to replace your old set. Like most Mercedes parts, we stock a variety of shapes, sizes and styles to suit most models, all of which can be found here.
